The Camargue: Like the 45 other regional natural parks of France, the Regional natural park of the Camargue is an open and inhabited territory recognized for its exceptional quality whose mission is to manage its inheritance by reconciling environment and local development.
Wetland of exceptional importance, it is at the edge of the Mediterranean, inside the delta of the Rhone, between the 2 arms of the river. Its main missions are:
• to reconcile agriculture and environment and to develop the quality of the products,
• to protect nature,
• to guarantee the control of a total management of water,
