Throats of the Screw:  The Screw is a small tributary river in Herault. This waterway, length of 30km, dug its bed in the middle of impressive plates limestones: causses.

The rainwater infiltrates through this particularly permeable rock, digging a whole network of underground galleries. The Screw is the fruit of this slow infiltration. It forms majestic meanders bordered by a luxuriant vegetation.

The circus of Navacelles, the old bed of the Screw borrowed the meander now dry. Opposite immense causse Larzac takes shape.
